good for a short time, July 12, 2010 By This review is from: Anji Mountain 36" x 48" DARK CHERRY Bamboo Roll-Up Chair Mat (w/tongue) (Kitchen) I bought this mat around 2 years ago. It was nice looking when it came in, but after slightly less than 2 years, it is falling apart. The slats have split and are chipping. I use a rolling office chair on the mat and only am in the chair around 2 hours a day max, so it isn't like it is a constant use. If you barely use the mat it might work fine, but under what I consider slight use it fell apart. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I would have thought it would last more than 2 years. I went back to a heavy vinyl mat in replacing the other one.

Good looking, October 5, 2009 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Anji Mountain 36" x 48" DARK CHERRY Bamboo Roll-Up Chair Mat (w/tongue) (Kitchen) The two cherry bamboo chair mats we received look like wood and are really nice looking. Instead of being one flat mat as the others, the bamboo mats have slats that are about 3" each and are joined together so the mat flows with the chair. Other mats we've owned have developed cracks and holes within a month or so. We've only had these about three weeks so are eager to see if they last longer. So far, we are extremely pleased.
This is by far the best mat we've owned!!!!, May 13, 2012 By Snow Level "Mountain Area" (Near the Rockies) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Anji Mountain 36" x 48" DARK CHERRY Bamboo Roll-Up Chair Mat (w/tongue) (Kitchen) We are at our computers all day most days and we've worn out lots of mats. I didn't have much hope that these would last...but I'm going through my list of Amazon orders and I see that I bought this mat in June 2010 and mine only has two little scratches. It's wearing wonderfully. So nice to buy something and then forget about it. And it looks really nice. We have the darker mats. They look like wood and they look tasteful. Nicer by far than the plastic mats. You will be happy.
