I'm a medical student and am constantly highlighting my notes and textbooks. I bought these because I wanted something that wouldn't smear all over glossy pages. These highlighters don't smear or bleed through pages, but they have been transferring onto other pages when I close the book. I'm also finding it hard to be precise with highlighting, as the shape of the gel changes as you use it. Overall, not a fan.

I am an avid reader and reviewer. I often highlight my books so that I can get back to salient passages. I was excited to get these markers as I read that they don't permeate paper and were easy to use. They are not easy to use at all. They feel more like a crayon or a wax stick than a highlighter and the feel of the marker on the paper is waxy as well. Most of all, it is hard to highlight the line that you want to. The marker is so hard to use that half the time I find myself highlighting the line below the line I'm trying to highlight. I don't plan on getting these again or recommending them to anyone else.

These are awful; don't waste your money; they are so broad you can't highlight text accurately. Before you know it you are highlighting the line below which you are trying to highlight, or both the line you intended to highlight and the one directly beneath it. WASTE OF MONEY. Not up to SHARPIE BRAND NAME STANDARDS...
