Major Accent Highlighters are the best highlighters I've ever used. One highlighter lasted me an entire semester and part of another one. And I highly reccomend if you want to buy these, to buy the green. The green isn't to dark or to light, their just right. :-)

I don't have a pack of 12, but I have 2 of these. I have had them all semester, using them on a regular basis and they still work great. I keep one in my backpack for class and one in my desk so I always have a highlighter when I need it.
I also tend to color code things in my textbooks, so having a variety of colors really helps.

My wife loves school and is always in need of something. This time is was highlighters, so when I bought a 3 pack at the store 2 of them went to the kids. She only kept the green one. So I ordered the 12 pack for her here on Amazon. She only likes green and only likes Sharpie for her highlighters. She says it is easier on the eyes, it's not as bright, but still stands out, and the contrast makes it a lot easier to read.
*Note- 12 is kind of a lot in a pack for 1 person cause these last a long time. She shares with her friends. Like anything, I guess they are cheaper in bulk.
