The mat was shipped flat, which was very convenient. The cleats are long enough to hold the mat secure on a higher pile carpet. My chair simply flows over it. Worth every penny!

I have a 1/2" thick carpet (yes that includes pad thickness too, measured by sticking a paper clip in it and marking/measuring the depth) and this mat cannot support weight properly on it. I weight around 200lbs and within a few minutes the pad has dimples deep enough in it that I can barely shift my chair at all.
The mat itself is well made and doesn't move around on the carpet at least. Doesn't smell like some of them do out of the box and is fairly clear. It just isn't suitable for medium pile carpets, no matter what the manufacturer says.
Came in a flat pack, not rolled up so I didn't have to unbend it or anything at least either.
