We waited to see how this mat held up to the test of time. This mat has lived up to its word! There isn't one crack. The mat has been supporting a 250 lb man for several hours each day. It is placed on shag carpet with an extra thick carpet pad. It is true that the pad will create a dimple where the wheels of your desk chair sit upon it. But it really isn't a problem, because you can simply move your chair slightly to the left or right and the old dimple will disappear. It's just the laws of physics. If you don't want dimples, then get a harder one, but then you risk getting cracks and having to throw it out.
We like this one so well, that we will be purchasing another one for my wife's office chair. Shipping was fast. They send the mat flat so you can use it right away! We've never had a problem with it slipping or moving around. Again, this mat has lasted the test of time! Other mats - that cost more would have... Read more

I have thick plush carpet, and this works well. It does not slide, it has not cracked and it protects my carpet well. Other reviewers rated it low because of the high shipping costs, but I bought mine through Amazon Prime so shipping was free. I would buy again or recommend this to a friend.

As they age, they become brittle, start to crack and eventually become unusable. The LLR25757 was exactly what I needed for my small home office. It was shipped flat to me, which meant I didn't have to struggle unrolling it or trying to make it lay evenly on my berber carpeting. It supports my heavy executive's chair with ease and allows me to roll back and forth without problem. I'm highly satisfied with my purchase. When you factor in the relative low cost of the pad when compared to similar ones at big box office stores, you'll see this really is a great deal.
